The 14-Year-Old Who Went Missing On a European Cruise Has Been Found – Vibes Corner

Aydin was on a 12-day cruise with his grandmother, a gift from his mother, on the Caribbean Princess ship. Their journey began on June 30 in Southampton, England, and included stops in cities like Copenhagen and Stockholm. On July 4, when the cruise ship arrived in Germany, Aydin disappeared after being last seen leaving the ship around 7 a.m.

Aydin and his grandmother had decided to explore Rostock-Warnemünde separately that day. Security cameras later showed Aydin talking with an unknown man and then walking with him towards the Warnemünde church square about 45 minutes later. Concerned about his disappearance, Aydin’s mother flew to Germany with the help of Princess Cruise Line to join the search.

His grandmother also left the ship to stay close by while the search was ongoing. Fortunately, Aydin was found safe on Saturday night around 10 p.m., over 120 miles away from the port. He had apparently planned to meet with a 19-year-old, and police found no evidence of any criminal activity.

Aydin was reunited with his family, and Princess Cruises expressed their relief and gratitude to the German authorities for their quick and effective response in locating Aydin. They issued a statement saying, “We are delighted that Aydin Brown has been found safe and sound,” and thanked the authorities for their exceptional efforts.
