Florence Brudenell-Bruce, a model and actress who was spotted on Harry’s arm in 2011, is experiencing the loss of The Marquess of Ailesbury, who it is said to have fell out of his bedroom window while letting out his pet cat. The 98-year-old man died at the scene on Sunday after banging his head, according to reports. His devastated partner, 88-year-old Teresa Marshall de Paoli, found The Marquess of Ailesbury lifeless.

Ms Brudenell-Bruce, known to her high-society pals as “Flea”, reportedly remains pals with Harry, who wed Meghan Markle eight years later. Ms Brudenell-Bruce, the daughter of a wine merchant, married multi-millionaire Henry St George in a romantic ceremony in the south of France in 2013. Police in Shepherd’s Bush, west London, say the pensioner’s death is “unexplained” but are not treating it as suspicious.

Teresa, who had been the man’s partner for 36 years, said: “It was an absolutely freak accident. I think the cat called Honeybun got her head stuck and he pushed it (the window) up and lost his balance and he fell onto to the patio. He hit the concrete with back of head – I was told that would have killed him… A police officer said death was instant.”

The couple lived at the home in Shepherd’s Bush for 14 years, The Sun reports, after moving from Wiltshire. The Marquess of Ailesbury had owned a property in Wiltshire. The family house became a school, and was sold in 2015. A spokesman for the Met Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 20:05hrs on Sunday, 12 May, to an address in Abdale Road, W12, after a man in his 90’s was found deceased. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
