On July 21, Meghan Markle, 42, and actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley were seen leaving a trendy Italian restaurant in Montecito, California.
The restaurant, Tre Lune, is a favorite spot for celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and Kim Kardashian and is close to Meghan’s $14.5 million home where she lives with Prince Harry and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley, 52, also lives nearby with her husband, country music star Brad Paisley, and their two children. The two women, both graduates of Northwestern University, were dressed in eye-catching summer outfits, with Kimberly wearing a simple, long blue dress and white sneakers.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle showed off her wealth with a $316 white shirt from designer Anine Bing, casual jeans, and nearly $70,000 worth of sparkling jewelry, not including her $350,000 engagement ring.
She also wore Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses and carried a Dior Lady D-Lite handbag, which was named after Princess Diana, who loved the bag so much that its name was changed to Lady Dior in her honor.
After photos of Meghan leaving lunch were shared on social media, some fans compared her to Princess Diana. One person tweeted, “Dressed like Diana – definitely off the scale!” and another wrote, “Regal, elegant, effortless. Reminds us of Lady Diana.”
Others praised Meghan’s style, with one user saying, “She looks like wealth. What a gorgeous girl Meghan Markle is.” Another user shared side-by-side images of Meghan and Diana, writing “Mummy.”
While Meghan looked stylish in her casual but luxurious outfit, many people online were not happy with the timing of her outing with Kimberly Williams-Paisley, a friend with whom she hadn’t been photographed before.
Some users felt that Meghan was trying to steal attention from her nephew Prince George on his 11th birthday. One tweet said, “How pathetic is it that she released a picture of herself on the same day as Harry’s nephew’s birthday? It’s a desperate attempt to steal the spotlight from an 11-year-old.”
Another user agreed, writing, “Meghan is so insecure about an 11-year-old’s birthday photo that she did another paparazzi shot. She’s become a joke.”
Meghan’s outing happened the day before Prince George’s birthday. Even though some people think she was trying to steal attention, there’s no proof that she intended to overshadow her nephew.
On July 22, the palace posted a cute photo of Prince George with the message, “Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!”
Fans quickly commented, sending their birthday wishes to the “handsome” young prince.
One fan wrote, “Oh my word, this handsome prince. Lock up your daughters!” Another added, “Oh boy…Prince George is growing up to be such a handsome young man. Happy Birthday, Prince George.”
Another fan said, “Aww, what a handsome young lad! Happy 11th Birthday, Prince George. Wishing you a long life and prosperity!”
Someone else added, “Your Highness, may God bless you with many more birthdays.”
